Born the oldest child of the current clan leader and the Giese's patron goddess, Kieran was not only expected the excel at the magical arts, but prove that he was worthy of inheriting the position of clan leader from his father. It did not take long for the clan to realize that he had inherited his mother's natural raw talent as well as her desire for power.
Kieran studied every book he could get his hands upon, listened with uncommon eagerness to the lessons of the clan elders, and practiced consistently. There was never a moment where he wasn't crafting or honing his skills. He seemed to be the sort of child where perfection was not good enough, and he expected the exact same devotion from his two younger brothers.
Keir met Kieran's expectation with open arms while Colden resisted them. It wasn't just Kieran's expectation that Cole resisted, but the clans ways. He didn't seem to embrace the darkness in the same manner that Kieran and Keir did, or like most of the members of the Giese clan. Some say that this was because of the human blood that ran through Cole's vein.
Cole's mother being human was something that upset the clan greatly. The only thing they thought were worse than humans were wolves (Werewolves or lycans.) However, in spite this fact Cole showed that he was just as talented as his brothers.
Kieran's determination paid off because not only did he pass the test that all witches are required to take with flying color but he received the highest score. His brothers would pass with the same impressive manner when it came time for them to take their tests. Shortly after he passed his test his Father became suddenly ill. Rumors begun to spread around the clans, saying that it was a ploy of Kieran to gain control of his clan.
Within the Giese clan a different rumor spread where instead of Kieran being the one responsible for his father's illness that his mother was. That she, upset over the fact he had a child he acknowledge with a human woman, decided to keep him as clan leader until one of her sons passed their tests. The only being that knows the truth of this is Kieran's mother.
Whatever the cause of his father's illness, Everyone within the clan agreed that Kieran is a better leader than his father. They believe that with Kieran that they can put another Giese upon the throne. The last Giese monarch had been his mother, and she did not stop at queen. She rose to become a goddess, the patron goddess of the Giese clan.
Kieran wishes to follow in his mother's footsteps. However, he knows he must become king before becoming a god. The throne would have been his no questions asked if it wasn't for another witch named Alexandre Lavoie. Alex had the same raw talent that Kieran had without the limitation that many witches acquired when they are raised within the clans.

She is not the only girl he plans on marrying. He will marry Aiyana Lavoie, who is currently carrying their second child. Their first child--a boy named Kuval--- had recently been born. A friend of Aiyana carried the child to term after the transferred him to her in order to save their son's life. These are not the only children Kieran have. He has two more. A boy named Kian and a girl named Kira. Twins born to a woman Kieran had a fling with years ago.
The man whom Kieran had called father his entire life has become the king of the witches, and has made many changes. One of those changes being he had named both Kieran and his brother as patron gods of the Giese clan. This left Kieran with mixed feelings. He felt overjoyed at being given this honor, but at the same time he guilty that gaining this position would displace his mother as the clan's patron goddess. His father also said that if Aiyana, whom he had named head of the Lavoie clan due to the fact he made Alex his hand, wished to name one of his sons patron god of her clan she could. She decided to leave it up to the individual to decide which of the brother if any would they decide to treat as their patron god.
Kieran is the god of nature, and unlike most other deities of his people he has two high priestess and two high priest. Each represent one of the four elements and the four seasons. He has found both his high priestess. The first is a girl by the name of Ciara. She represent summer and fire. She is Aiyana's cousin as well as the lover and future wife of the demon Dasan. The second is Kieran's stepmother, as well. However, she is married to the man that raised him and the mother of his younger brother Colden. She is winter and ice, or water.
